Hi all,
My sister just about to finish her B.D.S bachelors of dentistry I guess from India, She wish to come here and settle here eventully I need some advice does she should apply under FSW or she should come here as a student and then can apply later for PR of canada and in that case what program options she has as I heard doing M.D is really expensive and that too as an international student near to expensive.

Hi Seniors,

re-posting in this forum.
Need advice.
I am a dentist by education and have worked as a dentist for 7 yrs and in hospital management for 2 yrs and last 2 yrs as house wife after having a baby.
I am planning to do a cheap MBA from canada and use that as a route to get PR in canada.
Do you thinks it makes sense to do an MBA 11 yrs after graduation ? are there any other options that I should consider ?
Will I be able to get a job after doing an MBA from some low ranked university like vancouver island or thompson river etc ?
Also I am told that if I study in canada my spouse gets an open work permit, is that true ?

really appreciate your advice, I have been trying to get PR for last 2 yrs and looks like this is the only option left.

Regards
Dr. Shalini Joshi

there seems to be no activity in this thread for a long time,
i was active on this thread initially in 2011, and was away all these years because of some personal reasons had to delay my PR process. finally i have got PR now, and coming with my family in april.
all you dentist friends who have already landed can you share your experiences so far.how are you all faring, did you take up exams or doing some jobs or studying.
how is the job market for people from our background, can we atleast expect to land jobs as dental assistants or receptionist?
please reply

hello doctor, have you settled in canada? could you tell , is it easy to get some temporary job till we pass ndeb exams?

Hello Doctors, Any dentist applying for Australia Immigration ? Can Indian dentist , BDS degree , with IELTS 7 BAND overall, and 3 years full time work experience as Dentist in India...apply for Australia PR ? Do Indian Dentists need to pass ALL Australian dental license exams (ADC exams) to apply for Australia PR under Dentist occupation. I heard Indian dentists need to pass ADC exams before Australia PR application. Is that true ? Please reply if you have any idea. Thanks.

Hi guys ,

Just wanted to get an information from your knowledge and experience in Dentistry Licence process through NDEB.

For Foreign Qualified Dentist : How much time does it take to get the license to practice Dentistry in Canada (through NDEB exam process without going for 2 years equivalent course which is too expensive and time taking: so i think not a good idea ) ( especially for province Ontario , BC and Alberta) ?

Is it manageable to clear these exams of NDEB ( written , Clinical and interviews of NDEB) ? : ie what is the toughness level of the exam for the foreign candidates ? to get the licence.

If dentist licence is getting delayed, what is the feasibility of working as a assistant Dentist or Technician without license ?

Thanks
Gul
