sorry for my late reply...i am extremely busy now-a-days.
FYI, u might not be able to manage a job as dental assistant since working as a dental assistant requires licence.
as per my understanding, u can land either in toronto or in calgary/edmonton. most of the jobs are available there.

1. u will not get a job as dental assistant in canada though u were a Dentist
2. u have to take 1 year certificate course from any community colleges(George brown college for example) in toronto / other cities in canada. u can pay the tuition fee by govt loan (OSAP funding)
3. after that u can get the licence as Dental assistant
4. then u have very good chance to be hired as dental assistant.

Please also let me know the solution of the problem regarding PPR1( passports photo copies issue mentioned in the last page) at your earliest.
In the previous posting you people talked about the preparation for the fundamental knowledge examination and suggesting for the group on net. Does it exist now and if yes i want to become the part of this group.
kindly also help in preparation of this exam as it is a wonderful idea.

I am orthodontist and I have applied in FSW catagory in feb 2010. My medical done on 10-10 2012.
Yesterday they have demamed for PPR1 (passports photocopies) till december first 2012 which I planning to sent in couple of weeks as the passports of my family are going to expired in may 2013.
I want some query
1- Should i send the same passports copies or make new ones as there is very less time in expiry.
2- The passport office may take longer time even in urgent catagory.
3- If I send the new passport after the targeted date ie. 1-12-2012, Then what will happen?
4- What will be the next step and how long it further take to complete the whole process.

i decided to move to Canada,i'm a Syrian dentist who work in Saudi Arabia

i tried to gather some information about the possible ways to immigrate and i checked the skilled worker category but they are saying on the CIC website the starting from July of 2012 they will not process any application without a valid job offer or having a PhD from Canada

does that mean that there is no chance to go there?since it's impossible to get a job offer

yes..CIC is going to open skilled worker category from Jan 2013. so get ready

Thanks a lot for all your help and support. The mentioned selling book email given in not responding but still i am trying . Do you have some other resources to get all this stuff for peroparation. Moreover do you have some sample question of AFK exam and have any study blog for exam preparation on line as you mentioned in your earlier posts.
