Hi i want to apply in jan13 as soon as case opens so should i get credentials evaluated by ndeb or wait till gov announces noc list and institutes which are eligible for evaluation.And i wanted to wait till i know if im goin to get visa before i startd preparing for ndeb exams but is it required to first clear the exam before i can apply for fsw

I am doing an undergraduate bsc biomedical sciences then a postgraduate dentistry degree in UK. This is usually what you have to do in canada so how would they evaluate that?

Need Help!

Guys, I want to register for AFK 2013 and I have created my profile on ndeb site and verification of all documents is done. When I registered on NDEB site I applied as new candidate as I am from India and I have never given NDEB/ACFD/ODQ before. I gave 600$ while registering using my credit card.

My question is: now when I am going to register for the AFK exam under Register tab in our profile it's again asking for 600$, is it right? I thought I have to pay 600$ only once!

Hello Fellow Dentists,

I am an Indian Dentist with BDS degree and have been practicing with my Father since last 8 yrs. I am earning a monthly income of around Rs.100000
but since last 4-5 yrs there has been a flood of new dentists in India. So nowadays there is no Growth in our Profession here.

I was thinking of applying FSW in June 2012 but came to know that Govt is not taking any new applications till Jan 2013 atleast. Keeping all these things in mind I am a little confused about some points :-

1. Does it make sense to leave my settled practice in India and apply for Canada. I am aware that I may have to work as a Dental assistant most probably (or at worst as Security guard or Taxi driver ).

2. Would I be able to make Enough to support my Family i.e. Wife, 4 yr old Daughter and 1 yr Old son.

3. I have heard about PNP, does it make sense to apply for some province, IF YES then which one preferably and what's the procedure


Senior members ,Dr. Hasib and all the other fellow dentists plz advise me what to do because this is an emotional as well as financial decision. I want to give my children Secured life

Are you planning to land anytime soon? I suggest you to take an appointment and see a counselor at HealthForce Ontario, they will brief you all the procedure to get licensed.

The $600 payment is to get registered is the first step, after which you need to get your original transcripts sent by the university to NDEB directly. You also have to send notarized copies of your dental degree & transcripts to the NDEB.

Is there anyone who is doing this?

I hear the released questions are the best study materials for the NDEB, which I got from the NDEB website.

Are there any dentists wishing to study with me? I can put 5 questions up each day for general discussions.

Anyone with me? Count me in buddy! I need a study partner too.
