Hello all
Just received an email from cic. My application was rejected for dental therapist as i did not show enuff evidence that i performed all the duties and caps for dentist was already filled when my application reached cic on 19 May. Guess i have to reapply again. Is there any chance that they will send back my application and all the documents and if not, when i reapply, can i just ask them to refer to the previous app for all the documents? Since i am self employed as a dentist, what further evidence can i give to them about the duties i performed, other than providing them invoices, income taxes statement, audit report etc. Lastly, i want o add my partner in my app but in my previous app ,i mention that i was single. Would this pose as a problem, as i was hoping not to include her until i moved there since time was limited when i send in all my app in may and could not gather all her documents that time. Pls advise. Thanks
Hi,
1.CIC most probably will not return your application package. but they will certainly refund your payment
2.You can't ask them to refer to the previous app for all the documents. You must arrange a new set of docs+application forms+ payment.
3.If you have experience as a self-employed person, provide copies of:
A)
Submit a Statutory Declaration. This is a written statement declared to be true in the presence of an authorised witness
(notary public). This should be verifiable and be supported by other evidence of your employment(reference from other Dentists)
The Statutory Declaration — must include the following details:
a)the full name and address of the company and any telephone, fax numbers, email and website addresses
b) the name and position of your referees (other dentists) and contact number of them
c) details of the exact period of employment
including:
• whether permanent or temporary
• whether full-time or part-time
• position(s) held -
• duties undertaken(must match with the duties mentioned in NOC website), and the salary earned
B) Reference certificates from other Dentists (atleast 2 )
C)business/company registration documents
D)proof of business conducted with clients (invoices, bills, client references)
E)income tax returns, and/or
F)proof of your licence to practice
4) you can add your partner...this would not be a problem
