Hi everyone,
I am new here!
I have a question regarding post-graduation work permit applications. I took a five year bachelor degree program and have graduated from an university in Canada. Once I have got my letter of graduation (which is what cic asked for according to the guide provided online), I sent all the required forms, fee, etc to cia applying for a work permit. Three months after, I received a letter (in Canada) stating that my application has been refused and a transcript is required for the application.
I am very confused since in the guide, it shows that only EITHER a transcript or a letter of graduation from the institution is required. I have re-applied with the exact same documents plus a transcript. By the time I re-applied, it has past 90-days limit (which is stated in the online guide: student must apply within 90 days).
1. I am wondering how high of a chance am I going to successfully receive a work permit. I am confident that I have meet all requirements and really hoping the only reason I got denied was due to missing document.
2. Also, I am wondering if I got rejected again and have to leave the country, can I apply it in my home country?
Thanks a lot guys!
