I am getting worried!!

I have just finished booking my wedding in april in canada to my canadian fiance. I am from England.
I have my flights booked for a week before the wedding and then plan to stay for 2 more weeks before returning to England to finish the last semester of my degree.
But I keep reading threads of people saying they were denied entry in canada and now I am getting worried. I don't know what i'd do if they denied me entry, the wedding is booked, people are flying over from england and driving to it from within canada so It would be a disaster.
Does anybody know what I should take with me to show immigration that would give me a better chance of not being denied entry?
I have no criminal record, I currently have a bunac working holiday visa which expires in june but I worked for 4 months over summer using it because of University.
I've also heard that you shouldn't tell them you are going to get married, but what if they ask?

Any help would be appreciated as i'm starting to worry!

I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as you remember to bring proof of ties back to the UK. If you get a letter from your professor or school saying that you have to come back to complete your semester, or if you have a job in which they can state you are currently employed that will help. Also, bring a copy of a lease/mortgage agreement which shows you have those responsibilities as well will help. There are lots of ideas in many of the threads :D

patiently_waiting gave you some good ideas; proof of paid tuition also looks nice. Make sure you can show a return ticket and there shouldn't be any problems :)

Cobra - you should definitely not lie if immigration asks you questions. I don't think saying you are getting married will be an issue if you have all the proof of your ties to UK (as suggested: lease, paid tuition, letter from employer, bank account, return ticket). I'd say at best you can be vague (say you're visiting your girlfriend) and hope they dno't ask any more questions... but if they do you need to be upfront about everything.

Also, is your fiance planning to visit you in England at some point? If she is, book her ticket before you go and have a copy of her itinerary with you...

If you have never overstayed your visa and are genuinely living in the UK and returning to the UK it should not be difficult to prove and get in.

I can't believe that someone from the UK needs to bring evidence that they will return to their country! ??? I really don't think you'll have any issues, obviously the best evidence would some document to prove your studies.

you have absolutely nothing to worry about you have a return ticket. Its when people stay for more than 2 weeks, it becomes obviously more than a visit and thats when they query you.......Dont worry at all, come and enjoy your wedding!

BUNAC organises working holiday arrangements, right? Your working holiday visa allows for multiple entries, so you have nothing to worry about.

http://www.bunac.org.uk/uk/workcanada/eligibility.aspx

I've visited Canada many times, both with and without my partner (a Canadian) if she had already traveled here, and was often questioned about the reason for my visit but never detained. If anything, I'd say that it's vague descriptions of travel plans which rouse suspicion.

Don't lie about your wedding, enjoy it!

In my experience, as long as you can prove you intend to go back to your country no one's going to so much as raise an eyebrow at your reasons :) Last time I was entering for a 3 month stay and I said explicitly I was visiting my boyfriend, plus they had his name and address on the file from the first time I was visiting, as I was staying with him (and not hiding it either) ... but it was my 4th time, I've never overstayed my visa and I came on a return ticket, and the guy just waved me by and wished me a pleasant stay :)

Point being, qw long as you are going back feel free to tell them why you came.

Did the immigration officers get more strict recently with allowing visitors to enter Canada???

Its when people stay for more than 2 weeks, it becomes obviously more than a visit and thats when they query you..
I am going to visit Canada with my son and my wife (the person with the visitor visa) for one month. By mentioning that we will be staying that amount of time will there be a chance that the officer might not allow my wife to enter Canada? We travelled last year and had no problems but I am hoping that this year it will be the same.

you wont be denied entry....its their job to check all those who are staying more than what is considered a short visit isnt intending on staying here illegally i.e. you have to have a return ticket or proof of funds to leave.
