If I am denied a renewal on a study permit, what are my options

I am already in Canada.

The reason I may be denied is that I took 2 years off from school due to family issues

You didn't school for 2 years? So CIC is not going to extend your status as they believe that you weren't a genuine student. You can apply again, but you should probably count on going home.

so you think if i am denied a permit, I will be asked to evict canada? Like I wont be given a chance to reapply again within canada?

IMHO, CIC will not approve an extension.
