Delay in Visitor Visa // 2024

My boyfriend applied for visitor visa from Kosovo in March and he still hasn't heard anything back 
we were planning on going at the end of December

Application submitted: 10th May
Biometrics: shows completed on application tracker; expiry date and other information visible on GC key but no confirmation letter.
Background check: in progress
Eligibility review: started a few days ago; I did not receive an email, so I cannot be sure when exactly.
Medical exam: I received a request today (25th September)

Thinking I may be in the same boat.
I applied for my sister's visitor visa from India itself. (she is undergoing a Bachelor's in India and planning to visit Canada for a month)
Applied on August 4th
It's been more than months, and there's no update.
Is there anything you guys are doing or just waiting?

Processing is 114 days so within normal times so nothing to be concerned about.
Hello, I have been waiting for my visit visa for a while. I even applied for my USA visit visa and I even got it. I wanted to know if it's possible to send in a webform with this USA visa attached, since I hear that having one kind of help accelerate the process of it getting reviewed.
Where are you applying from? You can update file through webform but may not expedite it because you have yet to travel to US and show that you follow immigration rules.

My wife submitted a TRV application in July for her 15 year old sister who lives in Honduras. By that time, the processing times for TRVs from Honduras were around 30 days. When she submitted the application, she mentioned that her sister was planning to come visit us for Christmas. Given the posted processing times and the fact that her sister has a valid US visitor visa, we thought her application was going to get approved on time.
Since then, they started increasing the processing times every update and as of now it's at 195 days. Every update they just add between 10 and 30 more days and now she's for sure not coming for Christmas.
Should we send some update regarding her travelling plans?

Biometrics: June 13th, 2023
Military table requested: August, 2023
Military table submitted: September, 2023
AOR for Military table: September, 2023
Requested GCMS notes Q1 2024 (last update on GCMS notes = September, 2023)
No progress since then.
Tried connecting with MP of my area, they enquired regarding the application but no luck there.
If anyone could help with any information and give suggestions.
