Delay in Visitor Visa // 2024

Hoping to get some information
I have applied trv for my brother and father in December 2023, since still waiting for decision
Contacted local MP and he informed that
Eligibility, criminality is passed for both but tracker shows in review
IRCC requested some additional documents and in april tracker shows they are reviewing it
So not sure how long it will take and are their good chances for approval?

Isn’t processing over 200 days so well within normal processing times, and that is when most are processed. Eligibility may only start within next 8 weeks.

Hello guys my dad visa got approved but my mom got refused after 4 months and below is the reason,any further tips?
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/
section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

• You have significant family ties in Canada.

• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application

So how much was shown in funds? Was it just enough funds for one person to come to Canada? So she needs to increase funds.

How long was visit? What ties did she show to return? Your dad may have been approved and mom refused to show family ties in home country. Your dad has family ties to return to.

The fund we showed 15kCAD for month,she is my step mom and she is so younger then my dad and doesn’t have any children may be the one most important reason.we submitted a lot of her property evaluation.its been three times got rejected for my mom so just thinking how do I get her?

What does it mean you have significant ties in Canada?

Well what are her family ties to home country? If husband is in Canada and step children then she doesn’t have family ties to return. $15k for 2 people is not a lot. That is enough for one person. You want to show enough funds to not use all the savings. Property is not cash nor ties to return. So this is her third rejection? If so, she doesn’t want to apply for some time. IRCC thinks she is desperate to get to Canada.
