Delay in Student Visa processing

I am from India.I had made an online application for student visa on 7th June. Its been almost a month and my application still hasnt moved from "open" to "processing". I made a case-specific enquiry and merely got an abstract reply stating that "there are no updates to your application. Thank you for your patience". Considering how several others are getting their applications processed in under 20 days I am slowly but surely beginning to have panic attacks (jk). Anybody else whose in the same boat as I? Thanks in advance.
