Delay in decesion

Hi there,

As per the CIC timelines, I was supposed to get a decesion on 8th March however until today (21st May) I don't have any news. Is there any place I can inquire and understand the reason for this, maybe do an appeal?

The timelines are only estimates - individual factors in your application can cause your review to take much longer. They're not guaranteed timelines, sadly.

You can try to submit a webform inquiry. But this is the most update you'll get, unfortunately.

Have you tried ordering GCMS notes? I have no intention of promoting these, as some others on this forum have been accused of...but having them shall let you know what exactly is going on with your case, what stage it is at and what are the concerns (if any) of the Officer reviewing your case...

With that length of a delay, it's almost definitely a security screening delay. The GCMS notes will withhold any security information. However, it's entirely possible it's not security screening.
