I am hoping someone can help me here with the following: I am an Indian citizen living in the US and am planning to take my IELTS next month. To expedite the process, I want to get my degrees evaluated in parallel. Can someone please tell me if I need to get my transcripts from my university delivered directly to WES, or do I need to get them delivered to me and then I send it to WES?

Also, since my wife will be getting her’s evaluated as well, do we need to send her and mine transcripts together as one package, or would it to be twodifferent packages to WES for both of us? Thanks!

For American degrees, you have to ask your university to send the transcripts directly. For indian degrees, you have to get them in the format specified by WES and then mail it to them yourself.

WES standard application would likely be for admission to Canadian universities where they will check your individual grades and convert them to Canadian scores. The ECA application for IRCC will only tell you what your degree is equal to in Canada which is what is required for permanent residency.

Thanks for your reply. So the process is: first create two separate profiles on WES website and then have the US degrees sent directly there? And have the Indian degrees mailed to them later? Will they give me a reference number once I create the profile that I would need to use? Thanks

You only need to create 1 profile. You'll get a reference number after completing your order which you will have to mention on the transcripts envelope. If your US degree is higher than your Indian degree then you might not even to send your Indian degree.

You mean just one profile for both me and my wife? Oh, so you are saying I need to send our highest degrees?

Is it true that we only need to get our highest degree evaluated? If so, do I only need to get my masters degree evaluated and not the bachelors one?
