I came to Canada on a work/temporary resident permit at the end of May 2010. I began working between five and six days a week, and spent the greater part (13+ hours a day) in Canada, and returned to the US to sleep (at a relative's house) for the first four months I was here, until I could get my own apartment in Canada.
September 5 I found an apartment and got my Ontario driver's license. October 1 was the day I moved into this apartment and began spending each and every day in Canada.
For citizenship purposes, what would CIC consider the date I "came to live in Canada"? The day I was legally able to live and work here, and began work, or the day I physically slept overnight here in my own place?
