Hey guys,

I just got accepted in the University of Calgary and was gonna ask some questions. I already have 13,000CAD for my tuition (9,589CAD) and my godmother agreed to provide food, lodging etc for me in my stay there, will she need to show lots of money in her bank statement? I understand she needs to provide one. Also my father will support my financially, how much should he have in his bank for a visa approval?

This was stated in the checklist:

"Declaration letter of financial support

If you are being funded by a person or an organization, provide an original letter stating that they will fully support you financially during your studies in Canada, along with their bank statements for the last 6 months* and employment letter/trade licence."

So I am wondering if how much they need to have in their banks? Also if I get a visa can I go and land in Canada immediately when I get it? Thank you very much for your time guys, sorry for the long post! Cheers!

first Year Fee + 10000 + 3000 is actual bank statement You Need But its always Better To show More

1. Show That money You have In You Account
2. get The letter From Your sponsor stating that he/she will Support You financially During your stay in canada Show the rest of amount From his/her account get the bank statement Of your sponsor and Letter And You Are Good to go

And Calculate Your first year fee + 10000 + 3000 this is the amount you need to show

But my godmother will be the one who will give me support for my food, allowance and lodging do I still need to provide + 10,000 and + 3,000? My father will be the one providing for my 2nd year tuition, mine is only the second.

Hi mr.xtremist, do you mean to tell me I need to show First year fee + 10,000 + 3,000 (23,000) to the visa officer even though I will be funded and will be provided with everything when I am there?
