Hi ,

Thanks for the response. So I won my ADR back in November and they requested updated forms, a biometric page of the passport and medical which I submitted. They didn't request any passport and my country is not a visa exempt country. I am dealing with Ottawa and Colombo VO. So I think they will have to call for visa stamping.

so then, as said above, the DM letter you receive in the mail will most likely include instructions about how to submit your passport for processing. this is generally how ottawa handles issuing visas in passports.

i have no idea. i'd imagine it depends on the visa office.

So I just got an email from my visa office that the file is with Ottawa and I should contact them and they said a decision has been made. So does this mean Ottawa will be requesting the ppr, I'm a little bit confused. Does anyone else have similar experience? Thanks

Just FYI, I received DM before PPR Request. Being from the UK I'm visa-exempt but did have to mail off photos, additional information sheet and scan of passport ID page (believe these are used for the PR card). So you probably have one last thing to do! Congarats on your news though

Mine says Decision made for the past 10 days and haven't requested PPR yet. I tried emailing them a few times but no reply. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks

not every visa office works the same and have different ways of handling PPR/in process. also, a lot of visa exempt applicants don't get ppr.

I would suggest that your timeline does not count as slow, at least not by CIC standards!

OMG what does this mean?!? We just got decision made on permanent residence!

1.Application processed in Sydney, Australia
2.Processed in record time - 4 months start to finish
3.No PPR, no interview request. I just log into ECAS and bam! Decision made and they'll contact her with the decision.

I'm freaking out!!!! IS THIS GOOD OR BAD?!?!?

Hi, my visa office is new delhi and my status show decision made but havent received any mail for ppr.
Does anyone know what to do ..i should call cic or delhi immigration.
