Jeez, I just did the math.

60 days to get SA
8 days to get to Sydney, Australia
59 days to get DM

My head is spinning!

Was your application common-law or spousal?

OMG what does this mean?!? We just got decision made on permanent residence!

1.Application processed in Sydney, Australia
2.Processed in record time - 4 months start to finish
3.No PPR, no interview request. I just log into ECAS and bam! Decision made and they'll contact her with the decision.

I'm freaking out!!!! IS THIS GOOD OR BAD?!?!?

I went through Sydney, and thats exactly how it happened for me too, similar timeframe as well. They will send you an email soon requesting copy of your passport, and a few more photos. Its definitely good news. Sydney VO is awesome!!

Thank you x1000 for this!

Congrats!!!...Our application was Rec'd 09APR2014 and we pre paid, got medical ahead all the things that help and when I requested case notes the file had not been touched since Aug 2014...I understand that the medical and all that expire after a year so I guess they expire this month and we will have to do it all over again...I am happy for you!

Thank you!

What Visa office is handling your file? You may not have to redo the medical, they might decide to extend it.

visa offices have the ability to extend the medicals, so you may not have to redo it. it's really not suggested to do anything about it until the visa office actually requests a remedical. what some people do when their medical is expiring is contact their visa office and ask them whether the medical has been extended. good luck.

Finally! Got updates today from "in process" to "Decision made" :D

Mine says Decision made for the past 10 days and haven't requested PPR yet. I tried emailing them a few times but no reply. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks

are you from a visa exempt country? meaning, all they need is a photocopy of your passport to issue your visa? if so, there's a chance you were waived PPR and you'll be receiving the approval in the mail. if you require a visa, then perhaps the letter sent will have instructions about how to send your passport to the appropriate visa office. not all visa offices request PPR before DM.

Hi ,

Thanks for the response. So I won my ADR back in November and they requested updated forms, a biometric page of the passport and medical which I submitted. They didn't request any passport and my country is not a visa exempt country. I am dealing with Ottawa and Colombo VO. So I think they will have to call for visa stamping.
