DECISION MADE WITHOUT PPR - NYVO , APPLIED 10/2010, MEDICALS DONE 03/12

Hello folks,

Finally got the "decision made" on e-cas today but didn't get PPR.

If it's a denial Will they refund RFPR fees? What is the procedure?

I feel kind of relieved now. Those nerds finally chose to take SOME action (however unfavorable).

Am curious what the decision is based on ( I assume it's denial because I haven't got PPR request yet).

By the way, did they encash your RPRF? and is there "Medicals received" line in your eCAS?
IMO, you are thru and should be hoping to get PPR

I highly doubt that this is 'PPR on the way' status. Did anyone get "Decision Made" on e-cas from NYVO BEFORE PPR request?
More likely it's because I posted on this forum critically about how badly CIC processes files. Hence retaliation.. J/k

Seriously though, this looks like my app was rejected.

Nice way to collect our fees and keep for years with no interest paid back.

Can't.
#1. Too long time passed since 2010. Most banks require charge backs to be filed within 6 months.

#2. No specific grounds to file charge back for initial fees. They charged for accepting app for processing, which they presumably did (or else they wouldn't have denied it).

The only fee I can ask back is RFPR fee. Which they will eventually refund anyway.

But overall it's what it is. A nice way to play us for fools, take our fees and issue partial refunds with zero interest.

wait..so they denied you on the basis of what grounds? I mean they have mailed you a letter right..is that noc job descriptions mismatch... or what? you can file a appeal...
since they have denied you after MR done and before PPR...it can be that they have found some issue with your medical report....

man you can't give up like this..find out the root cause..and apply a solution.

if nothing work out.... and if you are ready to go USA or CANADA illegally (illegal status) I know some agencies...they take bribe and pay money to cbsa(canada) and USA border patrols and you are in.......

i heard buffalo visa office closed down. decision made means here your file is transferred from buffalo to new york. dont worry you will get PPr and dont loose hope so easily..

My case was transferred from Buffalo long time ago ( refusal is by NYVO).

I am in the USA and I am LEGAL here right now. Why would I want to go to Canada illegally?

This is not Asia, my fellow immigrant. Give bribe to border guard and you will be guaranteed long term sentence before they kick you out back to where you came from. Occasionally you may read the stuff you describe in news but it makes into news headlines because it's not a common thing here.
As to crossing illegally into Canada , what benefit do you get for doing that? Live in slums with 10 roommates and work 15 hour shifts that will rob you of your life before you know it?

Btw, the main reason I wanted to go to Canada was based on my assumption that it's less corrupted than USA and gives more opportunity in open competition to those who have talent, inspiration and goal to achieve something in life. I do not want to go somewhere to just drink Coca-Cola and eat burgers doing stupid jobs.

In US it is already very difficult to make a good living, even if you are a US citizen with Master's degree many good jobs won't hire you unless you are already "in" or someone with influence makes a referral for you.

Ineptitude and un-professionalism - a direct result of nepotism and hand-washes-hand culture had extremely detrimental effects here lately. So I want to get out of here and take my kids/family with me too.

Now if I knew Canada sells papers on border it wouldn't be a good place for me to escape from US, it would be a place to avoid....

I am already disappointed enough in Canada, reading experiences of people who were fooled to apply as early as in 2004 and now must wait another who knows what long to get their refunds.

I am more than sure that reason for my refusal is frivolous , but will wait for their official lettered response.

Culture of moral corruption (not necessarily a direct monetary corruption, as in Asia) is a cancer that spreads quickly on Western Hemisphere nowdays.
They no longer believe in values that made them superpowers of the world, instead they want to follow the steps of those who practiced this kind of disregard for human dignity , rights and values and ended up as a third world countries. It's crazy but it's a fact....
We are mere kettle, bureaucrat decides on his or her whim if they want to put our life on 1, 2,5 or even 20 years hold and there is nothing, nada, zilch that you can do about it. And everyone BELIEVES that THIS IS THE WAY to go. That's what Moral Corruption does to societies.
Canada is just happens to be it's latest victim.
