So my husband (American, living with me in canada) got an email saying to send in a copy of his passport and two photos. After he does this, what does the time line look like? He's so anxious to start applying for jobs I think he may implode if he has to wait much longer! My sympathies to everyone dealing with this process! It's been almost a year for us....so far...

Took 8 months for me to get to this same point. Mailed off the things they asked for yesterday. Hoping to get it back ASAP!

My American husband was also in Canada when he received PPR. For him, from PPR to landing, was ten days. It took a week after sending in the photos and passport pages to issue the visa - we knew this had been done when all the details of our MyCIC account was updated to completed and approved. Then it took a couple of days for the CoPR to come in the mail. If you click under my name, you can see our timeline.

I was wondering what happens next. So I had an update on mycic that the processing of my background is in process but on my ECAS account under the Applicant it said decision made... I have read before that the ECAS is the updated one after a decision is made...but I am wondering what to expect next? I am bit anxious so any info would help?
