Hi 2011july20,

I read somewhere that it may take 2 to 8 weeks for PPR after DM. (Hopefully we got positive decision :))

I have seen two cases online here where the members received PPR three days after Decision Made. 2-8 weeks will be a killer on my part!

I know, there is no pattern. It's a waiting game for us now

Look at my time line. I paid RPRF on October 31, 2013. Medicals should be coming soon!

We are together on this. However, because you have a job offer, you will get your PPR earlier than me, i bet!

July20,

I don't know how it works. Looks like we are with visa printing department. Not sure how they handle this process. This is what I got reply from CIC:-

"The officer has rendered their decision to approve the issuance of your permanent resident visas, your application has been sent to the Visas printing department and they will forward along to you the next steps in your application once they are ready to issue."

Bsingh,
Did you send them an email? Aren't they supposed to have passports to print Visas on, some of us are US citizens while dependents are residents.
It is confusing.
