Decision Made - Family class sponsorship

Hello everyone,
We submitted our family class sponsorship application on dec 2010 to canadian embassy at islamabad pakistan after 5 years they asked us for interview then I and my family had our 2nd time medical examination about 6 months ago, about two months ago our sponsor told me the immigration office in BC emailed her saying the application went through and is approved, today I just checked the status of my application online on CIC website, after steps of application recieved, started processing your application, medical recieved it says decision Made, but we didnt hear anything from embassy yet, what Does this (decision made) idicate? Any idea how long till we hear from embassy?
Any input will be appreciated.

decision made means they made a decision. since there was an interview, it is hard to determine what that decision is. more than likely, the applicant would know whether the interview went well or not. it can take 1-4 weeks to hear from your visa office after status changes to decision made. you can always order a copy of the GCMS notes to see if anything is there about the decision and whether anything has been sent. usually communication is sent to the applicant (or representative) by email.

After our interviw finished the case ofdiver told us, we passed the interview and asked us to wait some min to give us our medical examination forms, then we did our medical, so its after medical recieved by them.
Can it also be a negative answer?

if you passed the interview and they requested your medicals, then it can be assumed the decision is positive.

My god that over 6 years.... Hopefully everything will go well from now on brother. Any idea why it was so slow? Or was it just the Pakistan visa office?

Typical processing times of a parent sponsorship app from back then.

I'm just curious what your sponsor says was approved? They don't usually email this information, unless you are referring to sponsor approval, which seems backwards since you would have had an interview before your sponsor was approved.

Next you would get a PPR (assuming you are from a visa-requiring country) and COPR in the mail.

After submitting the application on 2010, then on 2015 my brother and also my sister got married, so until they processed their application seperatly it took us two years now, and yes pakistan visa office is damn slow too.

My sponsor didnt say it but I guess it was the two new members in family which was appeoved

Have you tried linking your application to a MyCIC account? Only if you can, then your application tracking on that site will tell you what the decision is.

Note that it can be a bit of a performance to get your application linked and may take many attempts with different combinations of data, but this is also described in the above link.

No, it is not just for partner institutions. To set up a new account 'standalone', click on the 'Continue to GCKey' button (below the partner sign-in button) the follow the on-screen instructions.

The other link I included has step by step instructions on how to set up an account and link your application.

It is up to you of course, but if / when you manage to link your application, there is definitely a 'Final Decision' box where it will tell you what the actual decision is.

Ok i was able to create an account and everything done but linking my application, it says (Based on the information you entered, we found no applications) i tried everything and entered all the info is correct but still no application found.., any idea why?
