@Raj, as per Bhagvad Gita "Nobody gets before time and more than his fate. There is a suitable time for everything to happen.". We should join the celebration of the people who got ITAs today. It's one of the most memorable day of their lives :-).

I am sure you will also get nomination/ITA very soon. But today, lets there be hope and positivity and not agony :)

Wish you & all the forum Members all the Best..... we all have come so far, our nominations and ITAs are just round the corner. Don't loose hope....

Well, don't get me wrong, I've been on the forum for a while. I have seen so many people succeed and I've always been happy for them. Even now, the agony is about the delay of early November applicants; Not over the success of who got nomination/ITA. I congratulate and wish success to everyone who has got nomination/ITA. You should have known better man - when have I not celebrated other's success?

Edit: Please don't quote crappy (IMO) verses for me. I don't care what the Bhagvad Gita or the Jungle book says. I have my frustration and its sad that you are opaque to the fact despite the unreasonably long delay on my application, I don't stop helping others and I celebrate everybody's success.

Raj, you rock!

You need an affidavit/ letter (notarised if possible) from your hubby's cousin, that money is a gift to Primary applicant for his/her settlement in Canada and need not be returned.

Along with that, send them statements of where ever you have money (bank statement, shares/bonds or any other investment statement)

Thanks digitaldestiny. +1

@mayu2605 Thanks am hoping for that!

@bestofluck, congrats on ITA.
I just received additional doc request and I've got a question. My hubby's cousin has gifted us some money and I've got some other money in my personal savings account. How do I justify the gift? Is there a format, pls?

I was asked for a more detailed reference letter showing hours of work and start/end dates of current role. Also an updated POF.

You need to get Gift Deed executed and submit it along with proof of transfer. You can find a sample template of a Gift Deed here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/gift-deed-letter-t384602.0.html

@Jeremyprayforluck Yes am talking about same thing!

I didn't include my foreign ex. in EE and I don't have reference letter for that. I added a letter explaining that. Do you think this might be a problem? I have all docs for Canadian experiences.

Congrats Guys for ITA. :):)

All,
Have a super speedy processing :)

Hi all
I received a mail that my application is being referred by senior officer and moved to decision phase.
How many days it will take for the decision with the current trend?

Finally... received a call from immigration officer and request for additional documents.

Additional documents requested
1. Proof of funds
2. Paystubs for a certain period.

My observations from the call:
OINP mainly wants to know below points. So be well prepared to answer questions related to these:
1. They want to make sure your job code matches with your job you are performing
2. If your work experience is genuine
3. Your motivation to immigrate to Ontario

I had worked in Canada before for the same job code that I''m seeking nomination for. So, didn't face any challenge there. Since, I have not changed jobs (for the sole purpose of not creating complexities for my Canadian PR) and had traveled to Canada through the same company, didn't have a problem proving that my work experience is genuine. Since, I had worked in Ontario and still working for Canadian client whose headquarters is in Ontario, it wasn't difficult for officer to understand that I don't want to go anywhere other than Ontario. So, call went pretty smooth, at least from my point of view. Officer asked me he would require two additional documents I stated above. For nomination, he said it will take about 2 months and his job is only to recommend. We have seen nominations happening fast after additional doc request in recent cases. But I guess OINP doesn't want to commit any more optimistic timelines and that is understandable.

Help needed for proof of funds :

I had sent my bank statements earlier. Since I was expecting OINP to respect their SLA of 90 days, didn't maintain the acct balance and invested it elsewhere after sending my OINP application. Now, I understand stocks, insurance bonds are not accepted as POF. I have more than enough balance in my PF account. Here are things I need help with:

1. Do I need to furnish bank statements along with PF balance?
2. Who should I approach for currency conversion? I don't think PF offices in India provide statement in the format I require with conversion to CAD
3. If there is anyone who had sent PF as their POF can help me, I will be very thankful

1. If you have funds in your bank account, submit 6 months statements of the same.
2. You can take that day's CAD/INR rate from the net (screenshot) and convert your POF balance into CAD using that rate and mention it in LOE.
3. Check this thread to understand how you can get PF Statement http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/procedure-to-get-pf-balance-certificate-and-ac-statement-from-pf-officeindia-t412642.0.html. Also,
