Congrats Lpbe, It is really great long wait. But Finally you got it what we all want :)

When is your Work Permit Expiry?
I am insterested in your WP date as we can speculate when my turn may comes as my WP expiry in Feb next year.

DigitalDestiny: I absolutely agree with all the points.

The larger question is: Is OINP not accountable to any higher officials, Ministers!!! Don't they provide status reports, of AoRs, NoM's??

MDM23: Congrats!!! for your NoM. Finally you got it.

Pray for all the applicants who are hoping to hear, receive their NoM's.

Most of us feel helpless and hopeless with no signs of any progress, news, updates from OINP. What a pathetic situation!!!

Just sharing our agony among st ourselves and consoling each other on a daily basis.

Sorry i'ts for Lpbe

MDM23 Sorry

I agree with Digital Destiny! How is this not a news in Canada already and why none of the immigration lawyers and consultants making any noise about the delays. Highly unprofessional behavior shown on part of OINP.

Hopefully some good news will come soon!

Dear all,
I just received an e-mail that my file has moved to a senior officer to make a decision. wish me good luck.
Wish all of you the best

Merci Dan, wish you the best

Second, surprise is why Canadian Immigration Law firms didn't bring a class action law suit against OINP. Ontario clearly gave 90 days timeline when they invited people for applying to OINP. They charged a hefty fee for it. They said it's going to be First-Come-First-Serve. But they didn't follow their own published rules. It's clearly unethical, false marketing and fraudulent behaviour.

I understand immigration is not a right but mis-leading gullible applicants - with false claims of Province nomination in 90 days - can not be legal either.

That's a bit harsh... If I remember correctly what they say is that the AoR should (not will, but SHOULD) be issued within 90 days... They make no claims about giving out NoMs in 90 days.

I remembering reading something about a class action lawsuit, but that was with the CIC for leaving tons of FSW waiting for 3+ years not reimbursing their application fee... I realize you guys have been waiting since December, but it's not 3 years. Given the opportunity would you prefere to get your money back or wait a while longer to get a NoM?

Off course they are, but at the end of the day they are accountable to Canadian citizens and not us! That's precisely why we can't file for GCMS notes to see how our process is doing within CIC (and it may work for OINP too as they're also subject to the freedom of information act). The higher official probably recognize that OINP is doing their best to cope with a difficult situation...

Guys, you must not let the frustration get the better of you! At best you'll start a ranting match in the forum and worry a bunch of people at worse some OINP official will see damaging comments (like class action law suit) which could have dire consequences for all involved. Stay positive! Your time will come...
