thanks @bestofluck, just taking rest for another 2 weeks.
I'm just worried that it I submit original papers to medical reimbursement and later OINP or CIC requires it then it shouldn't be an issue. I'll obviously take photocopies and scan originals but not sure if original hard copies are required.

Just scan the originals and claim your medical insurance.

IRCC is usually only concerned with diseases that require long term care like Cancer, Cardiac problems etc. and not one-time medical issues like Malaria, Jaundice etc.

IRCC will understand that people need to submit original paperwork to claim medical insurance. In any case, you have the scans and duplicate copies of reports etc. can be obtained (if at all required...although highly unlikely).

Bottom line, don't think too much, our nomination and ITA is still several weeks/months away and you would be 100% ok by then.

Great !!.... but surprising thing is that they are indeed telephoning (some if not all) FSW Outland applicants. It indicates that they are following their normal processing cycle and are in no panic mode so as to wind up nominations in haste.

November applicant Mex Nov. 17 got nominated today !!!!!! 2 others have got phone calls...nominations to follow now

I hope they will omit the process of phone call and additional docs. Just like they did for DD. For December applicants they deposited DD and waited for the outcome of DD and so it took 3 months for AOR. Than they started asking for new DD to all...and the process became super fast !!! March applicants have not even completed 6 months still they are asked to send new DD. Same will happen for nominations. No additional docs no phone calls.

But till date I have not received any message from CitiBank. It's obvious OINP en cashed, hence the receipt.

Well I expect a lot of actions in September...even the increase in the CRS for Draw will happen in September. Hope the best now. All bad is past.

@MZASAM...yes I was one of the few in December and you might be among the few in February who is not asked to submit new DD. There are 2 or 3 more applicants who have not recd the request. This might be due to some bank DD which is valid all the time. ( ref 2 below)

banks work 2 ways

1. They give you Dd and send the money only when DD is deposited in the foreign bank and when they demand ( here they earn exchange rate plus difference of rate)
2. They immediately send the money to foreign bank when you are given DD ( here they only earn exchange rate)
