Just scan the originals and claim your medical insurance.
IRCC is usually only concerned with diseases that require long term care like Cancer, Cardiac problems etc. and not one-time medical issues like Malaria, Jaundice etc.
IRCC will understand that people need to submit original paperwork to claim medical insurance. In any case, you have the scans and duplicate copies of reports etc. can be obtained (if at all required...although highly unlikely).
Bottom line, don't think too much, our nomination and ITA is still several weeks/months away and you would be 100% ok by then.
