My work permit extension and restoration application, both application got rejected. Does anyone know someone who got his visitors visa approved from inside canada? My application reached on 14th dec, still no AOR yet. I have sent many emails though but no reply. Me and my wife have to leave canada now.. plz help guys....

( they could have said it. e.g in october 2015 they updated I quote "Effective immediately, new applications under the OINP Investor Component will no longer be accepted.")
They could have stopped sending PT from January also because they very well knew their position all the time that October , November applicants are still waiting for nominations.
With all the data in front of them they have taken a decision not to send PT effective 16th Feb and not to accept any application after 9th May.
Now this certainly means all application recd before 9th may will be processed ( you don't need everything to be written in details)
as rajkamalmohanram said they always have an option to shift the applications to 2017 if it is taking longer to process, like they did in 2015 or else the whole system will be at stake.
Note: Looking to the history of OINP, they have done it for base stream applications in 2015 saying
"If you have already submitted an application to the OINP but have not yet received a decision, your application will be finalized in 2016".
In worst condition, We can expect the same for Human capital too for this year.
But still it is too early to believe they will not process any application. They might process most of the applications before shifting the rest to next year because otherwise the processing of 2017 will suffer more than 2016.

Im not being negative. Just remind you, back in 2014, the Federal Gov just simply terminated " investor program and Entrepreneur" and returned over 50,000 applications.
So, simply termination and return application is possible.

They are not in business or facing any kind competition..... they can do whatever they want such as simply return all the applications, after that they can open another program next year.... and will you apply again? pretty sure you will.

We simply can't speculate about their ensuing decisions. As government they can trigger a simple bulk regret mail, citing some unquestionable reason.
It's a harsh reality and we need to be mentally prepared, have plan B.

Guys, I don't believe the blood and sweat we have shed will go waste. There are many fathers here, mothers, brothers, sisters - everyone has a different reason to come to Canada. I am aware that IRCC pulled back all investor applications. Also, sometime in 2012, they voided so many applications of FSW applicants (if I remember correctly). Lawyers fought for it and the applicants received their money back.
That being said, even if the implausible happens(OINP waving empty hands and saying "no nomination"), you will get your money back. They cannot just return your application and say we won't process it. They have to either accept it or reject it. Wait and time will tell. AppIicants will start getting nominations.
One by one it shall fall
On the greatness upon we call
Entries in red would turn to green
And things back to normal, as once it was seen
The email will beep and it'll give you a creep
You check on the email, you're already on your feet
O behold good Lord, is this dream nation?
