@bestofluck

I too sent my OINP application in Dec and got AOR in June. Your status says Nomination expected by Nov 2016. Would you like to share how did you find that out? Also, would you know what is the success rate after AOR?

Dear all, rajkamalmohanram gave a great news, a November applicant under Human Capital Priorities Stream got his nomination. yeaaaay! ;D
I think it is now safe to assume OINP will process NOMs and AORs simultaneously.

Hopefully, that is the case but let us not jump into conclusions until we see a couple of more nominations. If we get way too excited and things don't turn out as we expect, the disappointment will consume us.

As predicted OINP has started sending November Nominations ! Good luck to all. We can expect the nominations to start for December guys somewhere in August :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

quote by rajkamalmohanram

"Okay, 9th November FSW applicant (Human Capital Priorities Stream) applicant received his nomination. Congrats Sachin!"

Well I just predicted the Nominations to November guys will start on 15th July and so by 15th November we all will get nominations.

Look at the news today...They started with November nominations. Just wait and see at what speed they are sending nominations to others. meanwhile we must enjoy the good news !!!

And we were waiting for people like you...Optimist.

I guess for most of us EE profile will expire before/after Nomination comes through. If EE profile expires then what's the next process - recreate EE profile and link it with old profile for which nomination came?

You can create a new EE profile and ask OINP to transfer the nomination to the new profile.

Just out of curiosity and in the case of the international students in Canada (or ex-international students), does anyone know how many additional points CIC might assign for having a Canadian degree in the future? How far in the future might that be? Would one have to be on a study permit in Canada in order to benefit from the possible additional points?

I appreciate your insight ;D

According to me, they will give more benefit to International students to get those 67/100.They might be given 5 points extra ( or make 70/100 for FSW) so that it becomes easy for all to get into the pool. Secondly in the pool if they get anything below 600 as extra points they wont be able to compete to PNP. And if they compete only FSW than others will not get any chance in the draw for few years, which will disturb Express Entry's motive. So to me more importance will be given to 67/100 than the pool. Once inside the pool everyone has to be treated equal otherwise Express Entry will fail.
This is the reason they are not able to revise the system. Its not so easy.

I think he is talking about the old immigration point system where a candidate had to get a minimum of 67/100 before he or she could apply for immigration. Some provinces use the same or a modified version of that point system for their PNP streams. My question was if somebody who had studied in Canada would possibly receive additional points in his/her EE profile not toward a PNP program.
