Agreed! The bank official did tell me also that its a lot easier with the old draft in hand wherin it would take only 2-3 days to get back the money. Without the old draft, we would need to submit an affidavit along with the email revived from OINP and then the central branch of the bank would process the request within 15 days. Not sure if they will take only 15 days or longer.

few pages back, a guy over here replied to OINP that the DD still valid as per his bank statement, and OINP replied that they will process the old DD

Let's just hope they are able to encash the DD. This will save a lot of time and money for many people.

May be you are right. Many of the bank employees won't know the actual procedure/ reality as they wouldn't have encountered such a situation before. Having said that we don't have much of a choice, do we?

Just called them, a guy with a French accent replied and said he "thinks" the application is complete and still under processing, he added that I should expect AoR within FEW WEEKS! and later they ministry decision in FEW MONTHS LATER !!!!

I had written CELPIP when I was in Canada. Now I'm in India and thinking of taking IELTS (hopefully I can get good score) to increase my EE profile points so that I can get direct ITA. I just calculated with minimum band 7 and I'm getting 490 points.

Any thoughts on this?

Only one thought. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ?. Go for IELTS test (My personal experience says that British Council is more humane than IDP ). Direct ITA is waiting for you !!.

Hello guys,

After waiting 6 months for AOR today i got my application returned! For missing passport pages that I included! ???
In the cover letter they said that I cannot resubmit! Is there anyway that I can appeal or do anything?
I'm currently in Ontario. Is it possible that I go there personally and show them the documents?

@sinab what are your timelines ?. Are you CEC Inland or FSW ?

Any application that is returned is usually given 30 days to resubmit so not sure why that is not being done in your case.

Can you post the exact wordings of what they wrote to you ? (please remove/mask any personal info before posting)
