December Application OINP

Hi Souriju,
Please let me know what other provinces are open now for nominations. Unlike Ontario, I hope some of them allow us send/upload the application without getting invites ie, first come first serve basis. In Ontario, one should get a PT letter of Interest before one can apply for PN.

Sorry I do not have information if other province nominations are open, even I would like know.....

Dear friends

After several attemps over past few weeks I finally was lucky to reach an operator by calling the OINP office.
The man was very polite on the othe side of the phone. I started with greeting and said I submited my OINP application in Dec 2015 and havent heard anything since then. He asked for my surname, found the info and reconfirmed my name. He then said: "Your file is now being reveiewed, it is in the final stage and you should receive an Aknowledgement letter from us in 2-3 weeks".
I said: "Sir, may I please reconfirm, you said in the final stage and then you said that it is an aknowlegdement letter that I will receive in 2-3 weeks. Does it mean I will get the aknowledgement in 2-3 weeks and then I will have to wait for 90 days for the application to be processed?" He said that it will likely be shorter than 90 days.

So I inderstand it the way that pre aknowledgement, they probably review the application, not just for completness. It is just the timeframe they are playing with to comply with their quota.

One should not really compare 2 different countries. Australia is relatively easy and quick provided you have a good ielts score. Its one of the highest salary paid country.

Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick,Prince Edward Island are the others like OINP... But they have processed their intake during Oct - Dec. I think they are closed now.
Quebec had opened two months back, they too have reached their caps.
All the above said provinces will open in oct-dec time.. i guess.
If you have job offer or relatives you can apply to the following provinces too, once they open.. Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Yukon.
Just google those..

Hi Friends,

Can anyone tell me when does the DD get encashed after getting the AOR?

Bank draft is encashed before sending out the AOR.

My friend had applied for rechecking and his W scores increased from 6.5 yo 7. I had R9 L9 S7.5 and W6.5, which I felt was less but on re-checking it did not increase. FYI - I've terrible hand writing.

If you are confident, do apply for re checking as scores do increase.

After having read many comments on re-evaluation, I think there is a correlation between Speaking & writing module.
People who have 8 band in Speaking have a better chance at scoring 7 in writing.
Cos people who are able to verbally interpret their ideas excellently, can also do the same in writing which is all about coherence and cohesion.
Offcourse, factors such as bad hand-writing can always spoil your chances.

So, if one get less than 8 band in Speaking, then the possibility of scoring min. 7 band in Writing are bleak.

Note: There exist no structured data to analyse. I have speculated on the basis comments shared by other fellows.

@Iman.G it's because people have almost given up hopes of nomination from OINP in the near future.

OINP took 50 days to process Dec1-Dec15 applicants so effectively, they would need 50 more days to give AORs to all Dec. applicants. So 100+ days to give just AORs to 1 month worth of applications is hardly an encouraging sign.

They are not completing their work in time .this cant be expected in canada,their system is a failure.after that much time our conditions will change which will lead to change in points.we actually donated our fee to canada.

Well, i have been in contact with my lawyer. Still no updates regarding my pckage; all she got was that the file is under processing and they have a long backlog of files that they have stopped issuing invitations until they process what they have. :-X :-X

The weird part is that she also asked about another applicant who submitted his file earlier and she got a reply saying that he should be receiving an email by the 14th of May and until now nothing is received.

My EE profile and IELTS results expire by September!
In case that happend do you guys suggest I renew it and proceed with the hope for another year or shall I drop it ? My NOC is 2141 and my CRS is 438

From the above list , It is clear that DD of certain applicants have expired already.

As stated by you, With the current pace, 15 Dec - 31 Dec applicants may / will receive AOR ONLY till August 2016

OINP declared they received highest number of 1800 applications in Jan 16; implying the minimum time required for AOR ONLY is Feb 2017.

Feb applicants may get AOR by August 2017 :-*

Remember, we are guesstimating ONLY AOR's. Just imagine / guess when Oct, Nov, Dec. Jan Feb will receive their NOM's ???.

Please note. OINP issued only 870 NOM's according to the annual report 2015. :-X

As declared by OINP the least NOM quota is 2700 + 2700 = 5400 for 2015 - 2016. :-[

We are just struggling for AOR. So where are the nominations? :'(

We are December applicant.
I understood now, our timeline may stretch upto November 2016.
By the time, they start sending PT invitation for 2017 from November 2016 onward. we too had that similar cycle.. right ?
