Has anyone so far had to send a new bankers draft as the old one has expired?

No, it will happen with December applicants of dates after 15th or 20th. if they dont speed up. E.g if an applicant is of 15th December , his Dd must be 5th Dec so on 5th it may expire. so lets see if 15th December guy gets AOR before 5th June. Its extremely unlikely to happen now. Some of us will have to send new DDs, but than its matter of some more days, so relax.

Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia etc. are busy issuing nominations in matter of few weeks or months. As for OINP - even several Sep/Oct. applicants are still struggling to receive their nominations. :-[

Lets hope this week bring some activity in the group. They do not send AOR on first working day, so it might be only 3 days this week for AOR.

Forum member "amaiyar" is a FSW outland applicant from India. His application reached OINP on Jan 28th. His bank informed him that his Draft was encashed around 20-May.

So OINP is indeed encashing the drafts before they expire. If 28-Jan folks are having their DD encashed, all Dec. drafts would have been encashed for sure.

waoo that's good news! ;D

Has anyone been lucky today so far? Hopefully Dec apps will come to a end in a few weeks and put our minds at rest!!

lol they don't pick up. They are understaffed. Usually a black lady picks up the phone since her desk is right next to the window from which people drop off their files and if she's away then noone else picks it up. messed up stuff but keep calling until someone picks up

It may mean that everyone is busy. Happened with me 4-5 times. I try recalling them in an hour in those scenarios.

just a request, please do not assume that there's a "black" lady who picks up the phone always.
Do they say "hello, black lady speaking " ?
humble request to consider the concept of inclusion and equality in the Canadian culture to avoid embarrassment and issues later on.

haha I visited them so many times, I know she is black, well, because she is black!, and she is very helpful. Maybe next time before you write your speech you can ask where/how I came up with that ;)

God alone may know the reason as to why such long delays are happening for issuing AOR, NOM?

Oct, Nov, Dec 2015 applicants are awaiting their AOR, NOM? Way behind 90 days declaration for AOR/NOM ?

Seems OINP would utilize the remaining year to clear backlog of Oct, Nov, Dec 2015 applicants. :'(

Jan, Feb 2016 applicants should not expect any AOR/NOM based on the trend of issuing AOR NOM.
