Good news . I shall update it.

My bad, it happened just before I was going to sleep.

I have just got to work now, so this is the earliest I could post.

Thats your case number , not a file number file numbers looks like XHSW-160YYXX and YY is the most interesting.

It looks like my YY is 17.

file numbers dont make any sense nor the tracker or case officer. it is just a collection of history. it helps only who have passed that stage. we are more worried for those expecting AOR's. No one has faced the problems of waiting like December applicants.

January applicants are also desperately waiting. :-(

I just hope officers to send AORs to december applicants so that January applicants can start hoping further. I'm tracking Dec forum more than Jan forum.

you are right. The more time it takes for December applicants, becomes difficult for January onward applicants esp. because of 6 months DD validity.

From 1 Dec to 8 Dec there are around 300-400 applicants. (late November file numbers are like 16013XX)
And between 23 November and 8 December there are around 600 (23 November file number is 16011XX)

They had been receiving approximately 45-50 packeges per day in those months.

Hey guys got my AOR last night.

Do not believe the hype I think there is just a massive backlog.

Keep calm and carry on to Canada.

Now the wait begins for the nomination, at least I know I am in there system 8)
