After the 9th May update the whole Forum has become dull. Only 10 to 15 threads are live.

And with the news of CEC Inland and FSW Inland getting preference, Dec jan Feb group is also becoming dull

Make it a fantastic friday OINP

No much hopes on OINP....

They already confirmed that the process will go on even if the DD is expired , but its not easy for all. In India they do not pay you until you return the original DD, which means you have spend another 1500 CAD and send them a new DD till you receive the old one and get it en cashed.

And doing all this for all applicants up to march it will be November .

If this situation continues for few another weeks then very soon December applicants gonna get their application package back be coz of expired DD, followed by January applicants.

Hoping for some sort of resolution otherwise it's never ending wait.

I dont think they return only DD. They return the whole package.

HI I have submitted the PINP documents on 16th of December 2015,
Confirmed with the bank-Amount of 1500 still not encashed. Awaiting AOR.

No they said they will just return the DD and ask you to send another. They are reasonable but not practical.

If it is true then it's addition of 1 more month of wait which I don't find problematic

Doesn't necessarily one month. You can speed up things from your side

Its going to be November and still they wont be finished with AOR. Nominations will reach march 2017. God knows what will they do with 2017 quota.

Speed up means what? spend another 1500 CAD? is it practical in India?

OINP themselves take 10-15 days to send back....and then they will take 15 more days to send AIR, or may be more

I think there will be many applicants who won't think of creating new DD just to speed up a bit.

Great; you are keeping most of the threads live..

People have become dull and dreary. The waiting period, delays are indeed a factor for the lull.

Quick action on AOR, NOM would infuse enthusiasm.

I wonder, why it takes so long to open the OINP application packet, confirm completeness and send AOR's, NOM's

We all understand the work loads; delay of few days is understandable. God knows about the OINP internal working, processes.

A staff of 20 members at Toronto, may be one of the causes of delay.

Let's be patient and hope for the best.

I agree with you but 1500 hardly makes 75-78k which is not big amount these days.

People who are thinking of Canada knows such emergency expenses.
