I got my money order from the royal bank of canada and it does not show any expiry date ... is this normal

Hello Ahmad,
With most of the banks, this holds true. Neverthless its better to call the bank and confirm. i did the same for my DD from TD and they confirmed it never expires.

Is it true that the quota for OINP is exhausted? Why the AOR is stuck at Dec 8th?

To know the answer for this question ppl who got AOR in December must post their file numbers. However, I highly doubt that the quota was filled before 8 December, fot they have issued only 1300-1500 AORs in November, which means that they have 1500 or so AORs to send.

There is no official communication or confirmation with regard to quota of OINP Express Entry streams for French Speaking Professionals and Human Capital Priorities. If there had to be something like this, OINP would have officially stated the same, which they did in case of the base stream in November 2015. The base stream includes the Master’s and PhD streams, the International Student with Job Offer stream, and the Foreign Worker stream.

Pardon my ignorance but please let me know under which stream does CEC/FSW fall then? do they also fall under the base stream? i guess they fall under the Human Capital Priorities stream AFAIK.

You are correct, they fall under HCPS. But please note Foreign Worker Stream and FSW are different.

Everyone is speculating as to what could be the reason for the delay in issuing AOR to Dec 2015 applicants for CEC/FSW. and according to the OINP site for updates dated 16th November 2015, it talks about quota being exhausted for the base stream. so its still not clear why the delay in issuing the AOR to CEC/FSW applicants. Stan, please share your thoughts on the same and correct me if i am overlooking any details here...

Hope they resume as well.

This positivity thing is hard to keep up when you hear nothing for a few days.

Anybody know if there are Canadian holidays or something?

Any way hoping for some kind of news soon.

Trying to keep the faith.

Nothing is permanent until declared officially. So relax. This seems to be a temporary pause and shall resume like before. I believe things would improve with this pause.

Can anyone confirm if OINP asks for proof of Jobs applied for in Ontario region, before finalising the nomination. Also I am not regularly logging in at Jobsbank, today I logged in to see the status as Inactive. Got it activated. Does an inactive Job Bank account has an issue for nomination.

It depends on the case officer, sometimes, they can ask you for the proofs or at least what efforts have you undertaken in this regard. Job Bank is only a formality to activate your Express Entry profile.

There is really something cooking about this 7-Mar-2016 date.

Multiple forum members, who submitted their application in Nov/Dec. and are waiting for AOR, have reported that OINP is considering their submission date as 7-Mar and that they would hear from OINP in next 90 days. :-[

I wonder if this pertains to applicants from Nov/Dec or November onwards... I was backtracking through the November thread and I found the first user to mention this is rohitbites (page 71 of Nov OINP thread)
