CIC said whole ITA process would take 9 months from their side now, but if you check the timeline sheet, it clearly depicts 12 months time minimum.

At least that reply tells me my file has not been returned but had actually not been reviewed. There is a possibility that they are quickly handling applications of candidates with high CRS scores so they don't loose processing fee!bestofluck said:

The positive thing is that None of the applicant is facing DD problem as we all were tensed to what will happen to DD for more than 3 months.
Foreign DD has 6 month validity.
My case is extraordinary. I applied on Nov 16th, and till now no AOR. No communication. My DD will expire next month on 5th of May. I have sent them an email, and all I got is an automated response.
I am now ready to call them and inquire. Wish me luck.
