Does anyone have issues with employment references ?? I had a less than cordial separation with my previous company. My previous firm is completely capable of denying I was employed by them. The only saving grace is that I have all payslips and the offer letters. If It does come down to that , I hope I get a chance to present my case instead of the OINP officer going by what my ex- organisation says.

Anyone in the same boat ??
Been a quiet weekend on this forum ...

Cheers!!!!

Are all applicants going to be called, all will get a request for submission of additional documents in 15 days..If yes it's going to delay the NoM's

During the past a few applicants got the NoMs without being called or request of additional docs. Any reason, or the officer was satisfied?

We did not witness much activity..calls, request for docs during the last fortnight. What to expect in next weeks and in Oct

How about the seniors like Raj, and others who submitted the additional documents long ago. They are in decision for so many months!!! :'( :'(
A new month comes and we all think "Wow! This is the month!" and things just don't happen the way we want to. September is almost over. In a couple of months, November applicants will be completing 12 months. Yet, the nominations have not yet started. This feeling is like a leech - sucks out the little hope that you have about the future. Its a terrible state of mind to be in. To put it into perspective, the delay is almost thrice the "actual" (claimed) processing time.

I can only hope OINP will revise and devise a system like SINP - accepting applications in batches, processing them in 2 - 3 months (Submission --> Nomination) and then accepting more applications. If OINP had followed this approach from the beginning, we would probably had our visas and COPRs by now.

The batch nomination theory might be correct. Can't be sure though - unless we see it materialize.

Sending positive vibes - Lets hope we see some progress henceforth! Good luck and all the very best!

Yes Raj, we all are frustrated.
We all have waited for so long that if there was a better system in place, we would have got PPR or or would have been waiting for PPR.

But in spite of all the bad things happening with us, the month of October should be cherished. May be, this is the month to get nominations. I don't know, but I have a gut feeling that November applicants will not have to wait any longer than the next month.

Let us hope that we all get nominations, and start preparing get an ITA AOR and get landing in Canada next year.

Also, once we get nominations, should we get new work experience documents from our present employer for IRCC application? As the old ones are around 6 months old.

Anything that we should prepare before hand? Should we make a list now as it will help us in filing application sooner once we get nomination and ITA?

I'm praying that draw size increases till 2000 by the end of next month so i have a chance to get direct nomination... sighhhh... #wishfulThinking

Highly recommended! Yes. After all this wait, I don't recommend taking the risk of not getting updated documents from the employer.

Updated reference letters. PCC. Medicals. Updated POF. These are usually the documents that you would have to procure as a part of your post ITA documentation. My PCC expired (got it in March and expired in September). So, I recommend that you get your PCC after you get nominated. Don't do the same mistake I did. Meds should be done as late as possible (probably a day or two before submitting your e-APR). This will give you plenty of time to land once you get your visa and COPR.
Yea, lets hope we see some progress from now on!

Certainly. A lot of applicants getting additional document requests, some FSW nominations. September has indeed shown some progress but this is not enough :) . Given the delay, the progress has to be more substantial and concrete. I hope the new staff realize the gravity of the situation and process applications in a quick and diligent manner :) .

The most difficult one may be creating new EE profile, then inform OINP, Link it with the new one...

Its good, if they starts giving nom before our EE profile expire date :p

The greatest problem in this journey, effort is "uncertainty". It's indeed mounting lot of frustration and anxieties, as all the applicants plans are in disarray for (CEC/FWS/All streams) OINP/IRCC must address the delays, share their plans, decisions, time frames. This would be the greatest shot in the arm to allay the fears of applicants; as the worst thing to be without is HOPE.

Friends: We will never, ever give up, especially the HOPE; irrespective of what OINP/IRCC decides.

Most of us are presently are in a state of worthless emotion: SELF PITY.

Dear all,
After submitting the additional documents earlier today, I have just received an email, stating that my file has been transferred to the senior officer for a decision. Seems OINP is speeding up. Wish everyone a speedy nomination. Keep the faith!

It is better if you can get one, else not required. IRCC should only be interested for documents for which you claimed CRS points. So for example if you are at 405 now, and you get 600 then you are good as far as you have reference letter to show your experience which you claimed originally (for 405 points).

If IRCC ask, you can send additional payslips. For same designation and same company, IRCC should not have any objection. Moreover, IRCC knows province has already done required investigation for eligibility of NOC, so they won't waste time on asking for new reference letter. Updated medicals and PCC is understandable as person may fall sick or do crime over the period of time, but they will be anyway latest as they were not required for OINP application.

Anything that we should prepare before hand? Should we make a list now as it will help us in filing application sooner once we get nomination and ITA?

1. PCC (expiry is I think 6 months. Takes some time, so better to start process.).
2. Documents for spouse will also be required by IRCC (birth certificate, PCC) if (s)he is accompanying. WES report, education/experience documents, IELTS etc. if CRS points are claimed.
3. Updated POF.
