Just wondering, if IRCC did instruct OINP to go slow or pause the nominations, the same instructions would have gone to other provinces as well.

SINP appears to be releasing nominations at a normal pace. And if we notice PNP applicants from BC, Quebec, SINP are not complaining on the forum like OINP ones.

naturally they would not release nominations until they grow their Draw size because then no one from the pool will get invite and CRS would go higher to 900. Now its just wait and watch game how they manage all this. Its not going to be easy for them but hope they come out with some solution. They should not pull the nomination to such an extent that even IELTS of so many app expire ! One year to get nomination is just out of Imagination.

Expiry of fee draft or IELTS are just a tip of iceberg. Applicants would loose points due to age, EE profile, ECA, Passports etc. would expire, getting updated letters *again* from current company may not be possible for everyone, people would get Married/Divorced or blessed with Baby.

There will be several other issues, not sure why IRCC would want PNP applicants to suffer like this. May be they just want to clean up their old paper based application mess and at the same time keep newer applicants engaged and not run away to Australia.

The must make prudent decisions to manage the AORs/NOMS/ backlogs, old inventory, expedite all processes for applicants to keep up the faith

I received some emails asking about why my nomination was quicker than anyone else. Just want to share my timeline and experience.

-submitted my application on Dec 17 2015
-received my file number for my OINP application on May 4 2016
-authorized WES to share the results of my ECA report with the OINP on May 5 2016
-received a call from OINP officer to request more documents on May 6 2016. I emphasized my PGWP is going to expire on Jul 2016 on the phone and the email.
-received Ontario Nomination Letter in MyCIC account on May 13 2016
-600 added on May 18 2016 (1 hour before the draw on that day)

Just recieved my AOR. The letter says my package was recieved on Jan 5, 2016. I sent my application on Dec 23, and according to Canada post tracking my application was delivered on Dec 28.

I am FSW-Outland candidate from India, Submitted my application (Received by OINP) on 21st December and received my AOR on 14-June-2016, asked for a fresh-DD, Please update me on the list aswell.

I just got mine, according to OINP it was received on Jan 5. So maybe after 2-3 days you should get yours.
