December Application OINP

I made a silly mistake in my application submitted to OINP.

Here is the case.

EE App Submitted: 09 Jan 2016
OINP PT Interest Notification: 11 Jan 2016
OINP App Sent: 3 Feb 2016
OINP Received App : 16 Feb 2016

While filling the OINP application form which was received by OINP on 16 Feb 2016, inadvertently I made the following mistake.

In section D Occupation and Education (Principal Applicant Only)

Point 3. Personal and Work History (Principal Applicant Only) (Personal and work history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent.)

I should have filled all the details from 2006 till 2016, past 10 years (all periods of study, all periods of employment and all periods of unemployment).

HERE I ONLY FILLED PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT AND MISSED TO FILL THE PERIOD OF STUDY of MY BACHELORS AND MASTERS DEGREE

02/14/2011 02/09/2016 Company A Employed for more than 6 years and continuing

09/24/2010 02/11/2011 Company B

02/12/2008 09/20/2010 Company C

I CORRECTLY FILLED PERIODS OF STUDY FOR MY BACHELORS AND MASTER DEGREE IN POINT 6 EDUCATION HISTORY.

Point 6. Education History (Principal Applicant Only)

06/01/2005 04/30/2008 Bachelor Degree Total 10 years 8 months Work and Education History

Question : Will my application be rejected as I did not enter the bachelors and masters in Personal and Work History in Point 3.

You aren't suppose to fill ur education history there.

Personal information means if you had any gap between your employment due to any reason like study, travel etc, needs to be filled there.

If none of them applies in your case then you're fine.

Sorry to say, but you missed the point here. I have seen people getting app returned due to this.

Earlier while submitting my file, i asked the same question in Forum and someone replied back with there shouldn't be even a gap of single day. Can't find the post on which i found it!

I applied for OINP - December 21, 2015 and received AOR June 15, 2016.... anyone received ITAs during the same application time?

As per IRCC, gap upto month between different in jobs is fine.

As per application guide, there should be no gap.

Also, it depends on officials too.

This is what written in the form itself:

If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, etc.). Attach supporting documentation for each employment entry (reference letters, workbooks, etc.). Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time. Use a separate sheet if necessary.

Note: only relevant paid work experience will be assessed.

But what if the first say 2 years of that "18 years old or 10 years whichever is more recent " is me studying at University and I didn't put that in ? Will I get my app returned because of that ? Even if under that section is directly the education section which mentions the date and year.
All other work an unemployment history is complete.

Mike yours is a different case here. it says either 10 years or 18years old, whichever is more recent! I put my university in the list too as i was above 18 when i was in university!

Mike yours is a different case here. it says either 10 years or 18years old, whichever is more recent! I put my university in the list too as i was above 18 when i was in university!

Yes but i didn't put the study period in , which falls under the " 18 years old or 10 years, whichever is recent " ...I left out the first 2 years of that period because i was studying

Guys.. Let's read what they are asking before posting.

They are saying that in the period of 10 years or 18 years old, provide what were you doing. If you were not employed, provide what you were doing.
