waiting for AOR/reponse from Ontario seems endless. My application was delivered on 15th Dec 2015. After waiting for more than 90 days, I sent an email to Ontario Immigration Department on 22nd March 2016, however till date did not get any reply except an auto generated email assuring revert in 15 days. I don't know if they always take 15 or more days to reply, but this wait is really killing.

I guess they have enough applicants from Canada itself.
Latest CIC updates reveals that FSW who knows french is exempted from LIMA, on the contrary side the chance for others will get reduced.
29th and 30th CIC EE last two draw CSR points is 473 and 470 points, roughly selected ~1000 candidates only.
I am loosing hope :-[

they dont discriminate between CEC and FSW except for the processing time which is obvious

If OINP issued its last expression of interest mid February, before it temporarily stopped issuing EOIs, then it is beginning of April, ie now, that they stopped receiving new applications. I hope things will speed up now in sorting out the backlog of the accumulated files. ::)

When did they announce to halt issuing EOI? and where does it say it starts again in April? (I am confused; where did you get all these info)

Pure logic. You can see from other threads, they stopped issuing EOI in mid-Feb. So if the last EOI was issued mid-Feb, add 45 days for submission of the application post EOI. This brings you to the beginning of April. So they are not issuing new EOI's and not receiving new applications now. Presumably, this is to sort out the backlog they accumulated over past few months. I understand the measure is temporary and they will resume sending EOIs at some point in the future. The open question remains if the criteria of CRS of 400+ will remain or they may wish to increase it.
Anyways, the hope is that Dec applicants may start receiving AORs soon, as OINP clears past applications without a pressure of having new ones arriving.

Dec 3rd Applicant.. Still no word from OINP... :(

It's my 125th day of waiting for AOR. OINP's processing speed is just unbearably slow. Since they are chargin CAD 1500 for each application, at least they could have made an announcement about the change in processing times and huge delays rather than been stubbornly silent about it. No respect for people at all. This waiting is insane!

Many November applicants haven't received AORs yet, thus, we still have a pretty long wait ahead.
Indeed, hopefuly we won't get rejected for expired DDs. Wish everyone a speedy AOR and nomination.
