hi chelme, did u receive an email.as well telling that your application is updated? But nothing changed in your account? I thought I was the only one who encountered it so I find it really weird.

Yes my husband called cic in canada and adviced him for me to send an inquiry in abu dhabi. You can send to this email abu-dhabi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

pls keep me posted if ever they reply. Im really confused on what that email means

im just a bit worried kc akala ko sakin lang nangyari yun so sabi ko parang ang weird. Initially I thougjt to ignore it but some people are telling that its from cic so I should know that. Honestly Im not expecting for a result yet kc its still too early. Maybe an additional docs kc wala naman akong MR. Anyways, will just keep on praying.

-wow very nice! Congratz! It seems that the process in CEM is a way faster than other VAC in other countries.

I have just received an hour ago my POE Introduction letter from MyCIC. Feb. 2 2014.
Visa/permit valid till 2016/02/12.

Hi Guys,

I applied work permit thru VFS Chennai on Dec 16th 2013, till date it shows under process. Yesterday i sent an email to CHC reg my status & so today my current employer got a call from CHC they asked my manager about my salary, Job desc etc. Is that normal.

At the other forum there is an applicant the same case as yours. She did received an initial email from cic stating "your account has been updated, please check"

But when she open her MyCIC there is no changes also.
Maybe the CIC already reviewing your application.

In my case, it was still the old MyCIC format when I submitted application (11-22-13). Then a week after has change , another table box added stated, Last updated by CIC then the date below 11-30-13. Then a month after that I received my first Document Request my PCC NBI by
CE Manila. Pls. check my timeline.

Maybe a month after you received the message there will be another update soon.
