I am an outlander as well. There are people with later AOR than mine already in NA2. If you check the WhatsApp group you will see a few of themWaoo. That is good. I am yet to get NA2. I am an outlander and you?
Something must be wrong with mine then. Is it the same december aor whatsapp group? According Immitracker estimation, its supposed to move today.I am an outlander as well. There are people with later AOR than mine already in NA2. If you check the WhatsApp group you will see a few of them
Have you had any ADR? It could be the general slowing down of things this January that's affected your application. You shouldn't be worried at this time. Let's see what happens between this week and the nextSomething must be wrong with mine then. According Immitracker estimation, its supposed to move today. I pray it does anyway.
Exactly .. I have Been waiting in NA2 for more than 40 days... I think they are clearing the back logs as mentioned in one of the above posts.. have applied form India ??Anyone moved from NA2 to IP2? Seems they are working on something else for now.. not seen much movement in the recent past.. any insights?
No I never had ADR. I even thought mine will run fast because I got medical passed in 7 days after aor (21st of December) and thought it will continue like that. I am getting anxious. Is it that they select files at random? What is your take please?Have you had any ADR? It could be the general slowing down of things this January that's affected your application. I thought that it is always faster for Indians and Americans. May be I was wrong.Exactly .. I have Been waiting in NA2 for more than 40 days... I think they are clearing the back logs as mentioned in one of the above posts.. have applied form India ??
I think they pick files at random but I still believe you don't have to worry yet because the application is till less than 2 months. Let's hope things pick up pace this week. I didn't get my medical passed till 4th January but moved from IP1 to NA2 in 4 days. The feeling is that they have left December applications for now because nothing significant has happened for December AORs since, i believe, 8th January. No I never had ADR. Hi there, What number did you call to reach CIC? Are you in Canada? ThanksHas your background status changed again to IP? I received the same letter of RPRF request stating admissibility in process, 3 days after going into NA2. I called cic and they told me my eligibility is still in process. I have been in NA2 for over 10 days now.
Yup I am in Canada. I called 1-888-242-2100Hi there, What number did you call to reach CIC? Are you in Canada? Thanks
"Since Express Entry is a new system and not enough applications have been received yet, processing times are not available but we have committed to process the majority of applications in six months or less."Hi there, What number did you call to reach CIC? Are you in Canada? Thanks
I agree with the sentiment, but I dont think the call center agents are working on applications when they aren't on phone. Also, there is an argument that people who ordered GMCS notes were able to figure out when and why their application was stuck."Since Express Entry is a new system and not enough applications have been received yet, processing times are not available but we have committed to process the majority of applications in six months or less."
Please stop fussing, contacting, calling or otherwise burdening the agents at CIC if your AOR is less than six months. I believe that lengthens the process for yourself and others. I see people with AOR a month or less ordering GCMS notes. Exercise some patience and give those poor CIC agents who are doing a thankless job a break.
Point taken on the call center agents. How can applications be stuck if hasn't been six months since AOR. This thread for people who got AOR in December. It hasn't been two months yet. They say they try to process applications in six months or less. So if it hasn't been six months yet why bother or burden the employees. The normal thing to do is to wait and if no movement in six months then you contact them. My cousin works for CIC and it is thankless job. Just because a person is paid that does not disqualify it from being a thankless job. Immigrating is indeed a life changing event, more reason for the processing to take more than 2 weeks. I can just imagine the conversations the agents have at lunch after taking some of these calls.I agree with the sentiment, but I dont think the call center agents are working on applications when they aren't on phone. As a Canadian government employee, I can say (hopefully without offending anyone) that CIC guys aren't doing a thankless job. They are getting paid for their time, and they aren't working extra hours just to answer our calls/provide GMCS notes.
PR application can be a life changing event, and I think its okay if people want more visibility to reduce anxiety.
Practice don't preach. Call centers exist to take calls. If people are curious they have every right to ask. If the system is rudimentary enough that it penalises harmless queries then its a problem with the system. Emails, Calls, GCMS etc all exist as means of getting visibility about the application process. If they didn't want early access to these channels, they would have been designed accordingly with specific restrictions based on time of application.Point taken on the call center agents.
