Bright side is that alls clear. Sad that things have been on a holding pattern, reminds me of my PR application process, lol.
Can you share the link where you got your notes from?
It's the regular ATIP site... just Google that.
However, the key is in what you request and how you word your request. You must be very specific.

I said this:
"I'm requesting all information regarding my Canadian citizenship grant request for application #c... and UCI # ..... Please provided all information pertaining to this specific application including all GCMS notes. Thank you."

Each agency will give you the GCMS notes but also their specific information regarding your citizenship application only. For example, for CBSA, although the IRCC GCMS notes indicated they received all entry/exit data from CBSA and that was complete and ready for review, the CBSA also provided their system info regarding my application and I have every single exit and entry detail info during my eligibility period. It's pretty cool seeing them track my movements in and out of Canada. I could even see which documents I used, like my US passport for some trips and my PR card on others.
So remember to be specific when you ask the government for your info. Also, all sensitive data will be redacted...meaning not shared with you.

i just called IRRC, and she told me that still in progress, LPP not started, no required docs as of now. when i told that the website is down so i just want to check progress on my application, the rep didnt even explain why the website is down.
but anyway i guess i have still 4 mos until 8 mos processing time is done.
as they always say your application is still under the processing timeline.

Order your notes...you'll get more answers that way. Don't bother with the call centre.

They are saying on Facebook group that IRCC Call centre agent told an applicant the tracker may be down for another week or so because IRCC IT discovered it was caused by a cyber attack?!

do you need to pay if you ask for GCMS or ATIP?
Nope, it's free under the Privacy Act when you request your own information. it is $5 when you request on behalf of someone else or public info...this goes through the Freedom of Information Act I think or something like that

Hi All,

So I requested my file notes from CSIS, RCMP, CBSA and IRCC in mid March and I just got my detailed GCMS notes from CBSA and CSIS and I am annoyed. Why? Because according to my notes, everything critical (background, criminality, language documents confirmation, prohibitions check by CSIS and FBI, tax filing confirmation, entry/exit details, my original citizenship verification (USA), etc) was completed by March 7, 2025! The only thing left is the review of completed info and to have the officer mark LPP done. So basically for someone to check the box on all the completed work. And what's really painful is that the reminder date to get this done is set at Jan 6, 2026. LOL I guess that's a default to 1 year from the AOR date.
So basically, my file is sitting there - gathering dust, pretty much completed and just waiting for sign off. The ghost updates I received March 6 and March 8 were reflections of all content being marked as completed (in terms of data gathering) in my file.
Basically, IRCC has the capability to move applications much faster than they claim. On one hand I am glad to see everything has been collected and nothing is outstanding since early March... On the other hand, I'm annoyed at what seems to be a deliberate dragging out of application processing time.
That is upsetting. I’m willing to bet that my application is in a very similar situation to yours.
Some people say that requesting your case notes requires that your officer stops working on your case. Do you think that could have slowed down your application?

Not at all. I don't think IRCC is vindictive.
My file was last touched on March 7, I made the requests on March 12 and the 1st set of notes were dated as retrieved on March 22.

I don't know...sounds silly to me because it's a different group that responds to ATIP requests and they simply print out the notes. I don't see how that has any impact on the officers who are working on the case. And nothing gives you more information than requesting your file notes. In my case, I'm going to really chill for now knowing it's just waiting for final grant review. I'm relieved all data/info has been completed. And there are two reminders for the officer working my case...one dated April 3 and the other June 2. So I'm hopeful I'll be done by June

BG yes as of Feb 12 on the tracker, but none of the LPP. But according to my file, my criminality was cleared Feb 6 from CSIS, which is a week before RCMP cleared my background LOL
And IRCC checked with my USA undergrad university and my Canadian grad university...And IRCC has verified with CRA that I have filed taxes all 5 years... And they got all my entry/exit from CBSA...including verifying a day trip to Buffalo because apparently day trips aren't automatically captured by the CBSA tool...so a CBSA officer had to do a manual search.
I'm telling you, pulling up your notes provides incredible insight. So basically all my LPP has info gathered, just need an officer to make final grant decision it says. I'm assuming marking the LPP completed would be part of that decision making.
Anyway, I don't want to talk about it too much. It will keep iritating me
