congratulations!
Thanks a lot.
Kool we have same timeline.

Sorry asking again just to double sure.

1. Signature is only in page 1 and page 3

2. I have one photo, so I just make another copy and submit

3. Fees receipt

4. personal information in address my street address is not coming fully due to less space. So I am writing a additional letter to clarify that

1. Yes sign page 1 and 3. (I printed, signed and scanned back)
2. I submitted only one photo (front) and uploaded the back of the photo as well
3. I uploaded the receipt too
4. Did not have to do that. :)

I highly recommend everyone to apply if you get an invite for the Citizenship to Passport pilot program (It is super fast. I got my e-cert on April 2nd and passport was delivered to my house on April 4th ).
I have created this short video. Hopefully, it helps someone since there is not much information about the process online.
Let me know if you have any questions.

This is great, Thanks a lot. My oath is on later this week, however I have submitted the documents in the connect.

How was your virtual oath and how long it took ?
Do you have to be present in home to receive the passport or they can deliver it in the mail box?

Thanks for making the video

The value is in being kept aware of where you are in the process. You get emails for specific events. And sometimes, emails don't get sent out when they are supposed to.
hello, good morning

Not sure but did we interacted in past ? Were you the one with holding PR for long time ?

Anyways, as I am frustrated with job search have nothing to do, I would like to argue :(

I got emails way before the things were updated so checking tracker was just a way to feel better.

Example: I got emails before 1. AOR, TEST, Oath schedule. The only time they do not send email is BG & and LPP.

So lets imagine a world where there is no tracker.

1. I will have to check my email regularly including spam
2. There is possibility ( less than 1 % where no email is being sent ) but lets say they update the back something in IRCC; workaround could be to wait or check back using webform
3. There are cases and observation that LPP is being cleared updated but its not reflected in the tracker

Tracker is good, it helped me to check on my anxiety by repeatedly logging in 2 -5 times a day. It sets up hope where we think it will turn green. It was like a grass, something to chew on while applications are being processed

Hi there, I don't want to argue, so I'll keep this brief. I'm glad you had a good experience with emails but if you read other forums for other months, you'll find people who had oath scheduled on their tracker but never received the email and they had to proactively reach out to IRCC and follow up in order for IRCC to send the email out. There are a lot of those instances. Or getting the oath certificate download email before the oath invite email. Suffice to say, without the tracker to reference, a lot of folks would have missed their oaths and then been marked as abandoning their application. So yeah, the tracker is an essential tool when correspondence is inconsistent. Hell, the entire process is inconsistent.

My virtual was about one and half hours (1 hour - registration and breakout room for citizenship to passport invitees, 30 mins actual ceremony)
I was present at home to receive it but I learnt if you are not available then they will take it to the closest Canada post office.

Hi all, just wanted to chime in and report that I haven't been able to log on to the tracker since Thursday as well. As of this morning, it's still broken. I've tried different browsers and devices, to no avail.

This is quite the outage window, and regardless of where someone stands on whether the Tracker is useful/helpful/necessary or not, the way I look at it is: The tracker is a feature that IRCC is providing to applicants to self-serve their application status, and to get updates outside of emails. That feature, one day to the next, simply broke and became unavailable. That's not cool and applicants are right to feel frustrated and wish for the login to work again.
