Kinda similar story. Applied Dec 3, received BIL Jan 25 and medical on Feb 17. Nothing since.I submitted my PR in December 13, but eligibility hasn't been updated for the sponsor or myself (PA). Already did biometrics. how's everyone else doing?

Same application date and same situation, from what I've seen from October and November applicants, probably medical next week and eligibility in two-three weeks for us.I submitted my PR in December 13, but eligibility hasn't been updated for the sponsor or myself (PA). no updates at all. its quiet for all applicants.Has anybody from December got any news recently? Feels awfully quiet here...
You'd have to ask your lawyer to request IRCC to change the phone number. You are right that IRCC communicates almost entirely via email or regular mail, but it is in your best interest that all the info is correct on their side.Hello everyone,
We have a lawyer representing us on my wife's sponsorship application. Yesterday I noticed on the tracker that my wife's telephone number was incorrect. The last digit specifically. This was a mistake made by me while completing the forms. Is it important to get the number changed or it does not matter as IRCC only communicates via email of the sponsor, the applicant or the rep?
Eligibility confirmation just means the sponsor was approved as a sponsor. Up until that point, they have not even started looking at the PA. They always process the Sponsor and then the PA.Application: December 1st
AOR: December 14th
Eligibility Sponsor & PA: January 16th
Biometrics Letter: January 16th
Biometrics marked completed: January 22nd
Medical Exam Letter: February 16th
Medical marked completed: March 6th
Background check: In Progress
VO is Mississauga.
Was a little confused that we got the eligibility confirmation so quickly but I guess it's just waiting for Background Check now without anything else to do...
the applicant and sponsor passed on the day? in most cases, there are months apart. can you show your full timeline?Hello, on December 29th, 2023, I sponsored my partner. On January 18th, 2024, I received an email from IRCC confirming the receipt of the application. Today, I received another email from IRCC with a document attached, stating that I meet the eligibility requirements as a sponsor. Simultaneously, my partner received an email confirming her eligibility and meeting the requirements. Should I consider the email received today or the one from January 18th as the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR)?
