How did you contact MP? Should I wait for 18 months post application to initiate this or i can do that now? I also applied in Dec 2022 AOR Jan2023. Waiting for LPP since Mar 2023

Process time from AOR to grant is 15 months now according the official latest data on the CIC website.

If from AOR to today you exceeded 15 months your first step is to reach out to your MP.

Thank you for letting me know. I thought it was 18 months. I really don’t know what the hold up is. Probably Sydney office. Its so close to my PR card expiry, confused if i should renew or wait! I will reach out to my MP asap hope that is not slow too.
 
Hi guys, i just received an email about how to download my citizenship certificate. However, I'm confused because i don't have oath invite and tracker shows Oath as not started

Happy to share that I received oath invite today. Below is the timeline. My VO was Ottawa

Application Type : Paper (Two Adults and one Minor)
Application submitted : Dec 19th 2022
Application Received : Dec 28th 2022
AoR : Feb 20th 2023
BG Completed : April 1st 2023
Citizenship Test: 2nd August 2023
Citizenship Test Updated in tracker:29th August 2023
LPP Completed: 1st Nov 2023
Oath Invite: 13th Jan 2024 - Oath Scheduled on 13th Feb 2024

Congratulations, did your background check completed on Jan 5 , so you waited for background almost since test last April
