Just spoke to a nice IRCC agent that said my file had an update this week - sent to the team that schedules oath ceremonies! Not sure if that means anything but at least some update.

What is the best time to call IRCC? One of my friends tried to call on my behalf and both the times, it just said agents are busy, call again later and simply dropped the call

Early morning around 8 or late in the day around 3 pm.

Don't be some people have lots of travel history so CBSA entries are checked and take time.
Some have lived in different parts of Canada for clearing with different provinces take time.

I’ve been in Canada for 10 years and have barely left in that time, so……

apply for GCMS to see what are they waiting, or just send email for urgency to get passport since you are already in decision made category they will schedule for you.

Decision made category? I didn’t get LPP yet. I’ve emailed already and they emailed back to be patient. I guess I should order GCMS notes but I read ordering them slows down the process.

NO GCMS has no effect on your process. I ordered multiple times during mine
