Hi All

I have a oath scheduled on 27th May but I haven't received the oath invitation email yet.
I called ircc this morning they said they may not have sufficient time to send the email.
Processing is at Mississauga.

Does anyone else scheduled for 27th May 2023 received the invitation.

I thought the oath is online now? Why Mississauga?

I read on the tracker that asking people to contact ircc if not received the invitation 6 days before the scheduled date

Patience is the name of the game. I am hoping to receive some update in the second week of June!

Took my oath yesterday. The whole thing lasted about an hour and a half.

For people who have oath ceremonies coming up or are expecting to get the invite soon, here is a bit of advice or two for you

1) Keep your audio on mute unless asked to unmute by a ceremony official. Other people and officials don’t want to hear your living room conversations and background noise

2) Don’t log in on two devices at once. It creates an echo and is very inconvenient to the officials and other people during the oath-taking part

3) Pay attention to what is being said and turn your videos off when asked by an official so they don’t have to ask people individually

Follow these tips and you can avoid coming across as a FOB/Freshie and thank me later!

One of these days I hope to wake up and get the news of LPP completed which I have been waiting since 10th March. Vancouver office has been quite unpredictable, the same office happens to process few applications as early as within 3 weeks! I hope you get your approval soon!
