Is it normal that my husband (PA) hasn't received anything in the mail or his e-mail yet?

ECAS says this:

  1. We received NAME's application for permanent residence on December 4, 2020.
  2. We sent NAME's correspondence on April 13, 2021. If NAME has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have NAME do so as soon as possible. Please wait until NAME receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
  3. We sent NAME a letter on April 13, 2021. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Are you referring to line #2? This sounds like it's the BIL. Tell him to check his junk folder.

Also, I'm my husband representative, so I received the email not him and a copy of the BIL was on gckey.

I'm sorry what is the BIL? Also we have been checking all the folders in his e-mail but there is nothing.

BIometrics request.... but I just looked at mine and I think that one is just "we sent you a letter"

As I have 3 different requests and the only one that's clear is the medical. I think this is ADR. (additional documents request) For us it was a PCC from another country my husband lived in.

Oh thanks for clarifying! I've been driving him crazy with my asking him to check his email several times a day. His file is being sent to Mexico VO so I don't know if that affects anything or I don't know if they sent it to the wrong email. Maybe I will wait a week and send a webform?

I read so many posts, I'm sorry if I already asks... you were not representative for him, correct? Has the PA status changed to "Application Received" yet? You will know it's in mexico when it changes from "in process" to "application received" and then it will change back to "in process" and eventually (I hope!) a line item on the PA side will include, "we started processing your application...."

No, I’m not his representative so he will technically still receive the correspondence. It’s currently still in process on ECAS but has not yet arrived in Mexico. Thanks for all the info!

What do you do to keep yourself sane during this time period #desperatelywaitingforanemail
I really try not to think about it anymore...at this point we have gone through all the necessary steps and now just wait... either they will send ADR, interview or PPR. There's nothing more on our end we can do. Keep busy with hobbies as I know it's hard to visit and go out right now with all the lockdowns in place. I'm trying to catch up on reading which I'm way behind.

I've gone the opposite way and compulsively check my email. I don't think its helping much with my sanity though...

Bummer... it makes you absolutely crazy. I used to check obsessively as we worked through the steps...waiting for AOR..etc. But now, since they mention is the longest part of the process I don't want to make myself sick anymore. I'm already under a lot of pressure with other things in life so I only check morning and night now..which is still probably a lot. lol I always have my email open anyways, so if anything comes I will see it.

I’m all over the place... sometimes I check multiple times a day other times I’m too busy so I completely forget but once I talk to my husband I realize how far we are and everything just comes down to an email one sweet sweet email to keep us going
