Hi, my wife applied for citizenship on 10-Dec-2020. She got test invitation on 6-Dec-2021, but the email went to spam folder and she saw it today. Test end date was 26-Dec-2021. Since she missed the test and didn't inform IRCC, would her application be cancelled? What are the next steps? New application?

I've been scheduled to take the citizenship oath on April 20th, 2022. My tracker was updated on March 25th.

For what it's worth, as I hadn't heard anything since January 14th, I emailed the Hamilton CPC on March 21st requesting an update. They were very responsive and said that I was in queue and the processing timeline is 3-4 months from DM, but I should receive an invitation soon. I reckon it might've accelerated things slightly.

Spreadsheet updated. Could you tell me the oath invitation email date once you receive it? You'll get it 1 or 2 weeks before the ceremony.

Hi Everyone, My wife is scheduled to take oath ceremony on April 6th via tracker. But, she hasn't received an email yet. Is there any email that she can contact to notify them?

Also, we have plans to travel in 3 weeks. Is there a way we can push the process faster to get her citizenship certificate. If yes, do they still send certificate via Canada post or is there a way to pick the certificate from service Canada?

Anyone has oath scheduled at Mississauga office for April (or took oath in March)? If so, when was decision made for you?

My wife took the Oath of Citizenship this afternoon and is now officially a Canadian Citizen! Citizenship Certificate to be mailed in 2 - 4 weeks.

Oath taken yesterday Mar/29 at 11am via Zoom. Certificate to be mailed within 2 -4 weeks. Although case case has been updated with Oath, it still says is in Progress, I guess it will be updated once they send the certificate

Hi! Does this mean Hamilton was your processing office? I believe mine is Scarborough, but not sure where to find an email for them to ask for an update of my application. Any tips?

Just a quick update...

Please change spreadsheet to reflect the application type as "single" rather than "family of 4". Thanks!

Citizenship application status on Government of Canada website is now changed to "Closed"

Thank you to everyone for your valuable information, insights, and to those who do the hard work of maintaining the excellent spreadsheets. Congratulations to all the new Canadians! And, to those waiting, your time will come soon!

While we await the Citizenship Certificate, I will say that we are very glad it's finally all over with!

Check junk mail. My wife received her oath email fully 3 weeks before the oath ceremony. It might be prudent to reach out to them asap.
