Hi, my first post in this site. My AOR is Dec. 18, 2020 - happy to see this community.

After AOR, I received no email correspondence from IRCC. However, when I login to IRCC, I have the following open items:
Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Other pointers such as Review of medical results, additional documents say "we do not need..."

Is it possible to get a case/transcript history from IRCC? I saw somebody mentioned GCMS but not sure how to formally request this.

Thanks a ton!

AOR: 14 December 2020
FSW-O
COR: Kazakhstan
VO: Ottawa
Received ADR (PCC + Schedule A ) on 28 March 2022. Medical expired in December 2021. I guess remedical will be requested later.

Mostly medicals get extended in VO Ottawa, but If you have plan to travel late like after 7-8 months in January 2023 better you go for upfront medical this will buy you 1 year time for entering Canada

Fsw processing time increased to 27 months. Is this going to affect us?
I don’t think this information is officially coming from IRCC, but more like individuals who have analysed existing data of applicants from 2019 onwards and concluded those timelines. So many factors seem to be involved when it comes to processing times. So nobody can tell really…

My bad. I’ve just seen it too. In that case, patience is a virtue I must continue to harbour. Man…. 27 months.. sigh. How are people coping with this frustration? I am running out of strategies (More sighs)

Got sent two emails back to back, one asking me to have a medical again and the other email asking me to submit a Schedule A Background Declaration

both to be submitted within a month, I had actually passed the medicals but they are asking again

Please let me know if this is normal

This has happened with me also. Wondering if it is a good time to withdraw my application.
Does anyone know if they reimburse the 1000CAD $ we initially paid?

Guys I’ve decided to withdraw my application, just not worth this silly labyrinth of processes and jumping through hoops.

does anyone know the financial implications, would love to get back the 1000 cad I initially paid.

Yeah, it’s completely normal. Many have been getting the same request lately.

I just wouldn't advise it at this point. Especially if your AOR is Dec 2020. I doubt its done instantly, so you'd probably have to wait the same time it'd take your application to get approved. If someone with a 2022 AOR decided to withdraw, that'd make sense but 2020?

Just want to follow-up on this. I've read on the forum where some people are getting a new PCC and Schedule A form request while others are only getting the Schedule A request. Is there a differentiator between these two cases ?
