awesome thanks. so to recap (sorry for so many messages, this has had me really worried all day)
1. i will raise a webform to acknowledge the mistake in a previous trv where I should have stated common law, but stated single and explain that i was not aware of it (even our tax forms for that year were wrong, which we amended later, and i can show proof of ammendment).
2. get married and apply for sowp after marriage certificate is received (this is just in case our pr app is not approved by then, our eligiblity is already passed, cec december 25).

does that sound like a good course of action @legalfalcon ? sorry ill try to not bother too much after this!
YEs. Sounds good. Just make sure that you provide a good explanation, i.e when you became or qualified to be in a common law relationship etc. And if you have any documentary proof, provide that too.

Thanks, your response is much appreciated @legalfalcon . Last one: do you think this is a mistake that will get me banned for misrepresentation?
Our pr app is absolutely correct with all the proof for common law correctly dated, so does alerting to a past mistake get me misrepresentation on that trv renewal?
I will absolutely do my best to explain my mistake and provide proof (and explain that our pr app, which is the latest application has the correct timelines). Thanks again @legalfalcon

This is tricky to answer. CLR is based on facts and not a document like a marriage. When you claim it that you are in CLR is upon you and based on multiple factors. You can even just ignore sending the webform, but it is an obligation on an applicant to be truthful. As long as you are truthful, and acknowledge a mistake you made, which would not have been material in assessing your file, should not be a concern.

To read on innocent misrepresentation you can check the following:
  1. Principle in Medel v. Canada (Minister of Employment and Immigration), [1990] 2 F.C. 345, [1990] F.C.J. No. 318 (F.C.A.) and departure from it in the later cases, specifically:
    1. Mohammed v MCI [1997]3 FC299, 1997 CanLII 5084 (FC)
    2. Singh v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2010 FC 378
    3. Baro v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2007 FC 1299
    4. Sayedi v MCI 2012 FC 420

@legalfalcon
Good morning
I ordered notes and I have found this written on a single page ( can’t upload pictures)

Pages 65 to 106 are withheld pursuant to section
16(2)(c)
Of the Access to Information Act

But my status are like that
FSW/O/AOR: Dec2020
Eligibility: Not started
Security: Not started
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete

My question: How come I’m in security screening and my eligibility didn’t start?
Your security ha snot even started. You are not in security screening.

section 15 / 16 /19 there are many other provisions under which IRCC / CBSA can redact information before it its released as it is not subject to disclosure.

@legalfalcon I have a fsw(o) dec 2020 application. In which I have all stages passed and security not started. I want to know one thing can I apply for a tourist visa now and travel to Canada? Will it have any negative impact on my file and do I need to intimate them regarding the same?

Dear @legalfalcon, what do you think can happen if an Officer spotted an error in one of the dates of travel history? Like having many trips logged correctly but having one error with a date in one trip?

Is it maximum ADR to resubmit travel history ?
Please note the trip I just a random one not even close to 6 months PCC etc.

Thanks!

Do you have the dates for when your eligibility and criminality was passed?

If you are aware of an error in the form that you submitted, then you should send a web form and have it corrected. If you do not, you may be asked to submit a new form which will just add to the processing time.

Are you able to give them a call ? That would be the quickest way I guess

I called this number multiple times +1 (888) 242-2100 but I’m unable to reach the agent. Is there any other number/ or any specific sequence of IVR options to reach the agent?

Received GCMS notes today.
FSW-O, CoR - Singapore

Eligibility - Passed
Security - (blank)
HRIV - (blank)
Criminality - Passed
Org Crime - (blank)
Medical - Passed
Misrepresentation - (blank)
Info Sharing - Complete
Other reqs - (blank)
Final - (blank)

Is it safe to assume that (blank) means security is also passed?

In the notes by the local VO where we submitted our finger prints and photos it is mentioned, "Photograph: Tried to capture more than 3 times but no blur still persist". Does anybody know what this means and if it's anything to worry about?
