Hi all, i have one question that my owner gave me job reference letter in which she listed my job duties like in paragraph rather than single lines and she also write in future tense although i already did those duties. She wrote like following:-
1 the assistant manager will control labour costs as well as repairs . The assistant manager will ensure that team members are properly trained upon hiring.
is it ok ?
I also didn’t know how to properly write the recommendation letter, so pretty much everything that was required was mentioned, but also briefly and in one paragraph. Also, my manager wrote something like: “I consider ... to be a competent specialist in such fields as...”. To me it looks good, but after having read some messages and watched some videos, also read some info about the reference letter, I am really worried whether my duties are written well. And I would not worry if my manager were still working in the company. But he quitted, and he was an amazing dude. Now if my letter is proven illegible, I’m almost doomed, cuz I tried to contact the HR and to no avail. Plus I don’t know other people in the company and it was many years ago. Ref letter is the only thing that worries me.
